Collection pertains to East European history and society including manuscripts of Kazimier Baginski on the trial of the sixteen Polish underground leaders in Moscow, 1945 (Baginski was one of the accused); Col. Leon Ziołko-Mitkiewicz's memoirs on General Sikorski's visits to and travel in the United States; Franciszek Swajdler's "History of the Polish National Democratic Party;" and I. Nekrasov on Russian labor camps in Dmitrovsk and Samara. Also, microfilms of some rare books including KRONIKA KADŁUBKA, Rosa Luxemburg's THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT OF POLAND, and the Yugoslav daily communist newspaper, BORBA; and others, including the Polish weekly ROBOTNIK POLSKI, published by the Polish Socialist Party in the United States, 1907-1941; several pamphlets of the Christian Democratic underground movement, mimeographed in Poland during World War II; and a complete set of the POLISH REVIEW, 1974 to the present.
